Welcome to Reading & Research Exploratory! My name is Mrs. Diann Oswald and I will be your teacher for this semester. This is my third year as the Librarian for Bellevue Community Schools and my 15th year in the field of education. I live in Dubuque with my husband Shane and our two sons; Spencer is a senior at Hempstead and Connor is freshman at Hempstead. I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and of course…reading! Your first assignment will be to post a blog here so we can get to know you better. Tell us about yourself…include such things as your family, your hobbies, and what you did over summer vacation.
Hailey Sieverding
My name is Hailey Sieverding. I have a sister named Kaylynn Sieverding, my mom’s name is Erin Meier, my dad’s name is Trent Sieverding, and his wife and my step mom’s name is Ashli Sieverding. In my spare time I like to read, play on the computer, hang out with my friends, and when I’m really tired (most of the time that’s after school) i watch a little bit of television to see what’s currently happening. I also like to go shopping with my mom. I went on two vacations this past summer. First, in June, I went to Branson, MO. They do a lot of shows there and I had a great time. The next vacation I went on was this past weekend. I went to Adventureland, with my mom, her friend, and her friends son, Doug Hute. He is also a sixth grader in the reading and research class too I believe. A little more information about me is that my parents are divorced, and I have a little yorkie poo dog. His name is Tango
Caleb Eggers
My full name is Caleb Martin Eggers. I have 2 sisters named Steph Schroeder and Allison Eggers, my mom’s name is Cindy Shroeder, and my dad’s name is Brendon Eggers. In my spare time and lazy, I go on the computer, watch T.V, play on my DS. In my spare time when I want to be creative I make stuff with my legos, make characters with my bionicles, and sometimes I make origami. All I did last summer was swim at the Bellevue pool and go bike riding. I’ve had alot of pets. The ones that are curently alive are our 3 minnows and my dog Oscar. the ones that have been sold are our 2 hamsters and 5 new born hamsters. The ones that are dead are our 5 goldfish [not all at the same time] and our pet chick.
my name is Brandon VanZuiden. I have a sister name is Bailey and my parents name is Rhonda and Todd. In my spare time i like to listen to band called evanescence on the computer. I love to draw and my friends say I’m the best at it but I don’t think so. I have a pet bird Squirt and a cat named Tigger and suprisingly they get along. Sometimes i get picked on and I don’t like it. Well, i think thats about all.
My name is Tabbetha L. Colwell. I have one brother named Zak McClain Colwell and my mother’s name is Jennefier Elin Cantrell Colwell and my father’s name is Dennis Alan Colwell. I have two pair of grandparents. My grandfather was in the Vitnom War. His leg was blown off and his other leg was hang by one musle.
I like art, writing, and caring for animals. In my spare time I draw animals(I am destined to be a vet).:)
Missed one thing – I jumped off the back of a bike and went to the hospil.
Dillon Uthe
My name is Dillon Uthe i have two sisters and one brother. Some things i did over the summer are playing with my friends and i went swimming. Me and my friends went into a creek over the summer and we went swimming in it, we all had fun and we plan to do it next summer too. My sister’s names are Briana and Cassandra. My brother’s name is Jamie Jr. My parents names are Angela and Brian.
My name is Ryley Seymour. My mom’s name is Tina Trenkamp and my dad’s name is Ira Seymour. My sister’s name’s are Adrianna and Cheyanne. I have 2 step brothers and one step sister. My two brothers are Blake and Dru. My sister’s name is Alexa. I love school a lot. I like to go bowling and spend time with my family. During my summer I really didn’t do much. I went camping and I went to Adventure Land twice. once with my mom and once with my dad. That’s mostly it.:)
My name is Megan Haxmeier. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. One of my sisters name is Nicole and she is 10 years old. My other sisters name is Kylee and she is 7 years old. Trevor is my brothers name he is 3. My parents names are Rod and Kris. I have a cat named Levi, and a dog named Sophie. I also have 2 kittens but my mom says that she is going to bring them to my grandma’s house. I like hanging out with friends in my spare time. I also like to play with my cousins. I went to a few hotels over summer vacation and I did a lot of swimming. I also hung out with friends.

My name is Hayden Herrig. I live in the small town of lamotte,IA. In my family I have a dad named dave, a mom amy, a sister holly, a dog fritz,and a cat mittens. I like animals video games hanging out with friends and sports. this summer I went to waterloo to visit my aunt sara then I went camping in wisconson to camp.

In my spare time I like to play video games and play on the computer. I like to play a game called WOW. I have a dog named Buffy and a bird named Cooky. What I did over the summer we went to wisonsin and had alot of fun. That is all.

I have a brother named Alex. He is a senior this year. My parents names are Tim and Jody. My family is part of the horsemen’s club so we spend alot of time out there. In fact to night we have to go out all this weekend. I have to work this weekend out there in the kitchen, for the three day barrels clinic. In my spare time I like to play softball. I also like to spend time with my horse her name is Billy, she’s my baby. This summer I went with my aunt and uncle to a horse park. We took our horses, and we went on a lot of trail rides. My family and I went to the state fair last weekend.

my name is Autumn Palmer I have 1 sister Reann 3 bothers Dylan,Cody,Alex. My parents names are Lori and Mike. My dad doesn’t care about us any more. My mom is the one who takes care of us. Over the summer I stayed at a hotel with my family and my brothers girl friend came we had loads of fun. Some of the hobbies I have are crafts and I like collecting bouncy balls. My family has a hole bunch of fun. I think the way my mom raises us is her own way of spoiling us but thats a good thing!

Hi my name is Douglas and my full name is Douglas Edward Hute i was born in Iowa city. I have one brother that lives in Maquoketa,Iowa. most of my family lives in maquoketa the rest live mostly in scattered parts of Iowa. i play alot of sports most of the time i am either at home or i am at school. that is mostly what goes on in my life my favorite class in school is math.
My name is Alison Marie Lawrence. I have one brother and his name is Benjamin David Lawrence. I like to play volleyball, soccer, and gymnastics. Gymnastic is a cool sport to watch to me because I like to see how they do all of these cool moves. I wish I could do them so thats why I’m signed up. My moms name is Jill Kieffer and my dads name is Dana Lawrence. My mom is married to Troy Kieffer. My dad likes to hunt and my mom likes to walk. My brother likes animals and likes to hunt too. I love animals and I would like to be a vet when I grow up and I also like to go on the computer in my free time. I also like to play with my two dogs maybelle a lab pointer and packer a german shorthair. they are so much fun and they love to go for walks. My mom and dad got a devorice when I was only two yrs. old. that was not a happy time even though I dont remember much because I was so young.
